The Valhalla upstairs unit, located at 3216 Gulf Drive in Holmes is a wonderful three bedroom, two bath Gulf front duplex on a secluded beach. While the Valhalla is tucked away in a quiet area, it is within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The location is perfect!
The large covered deck is a perfect spot to enjoy the beach views, watch for dolphins playing in the surf and to experience the sunsets!
The Valhalla will comfortably sleep seven with a king size bed, three twin beds and a sofa bed in the living room. Upgrades include all new furnishings and bedding. Extras include a fireplace, BBQ grill and stereo. There is a 50" flat screen TV in the living room as well as a 22” TV in the master bedroom and a 19” TV in the second bedroom. There is a washer and dryer in the unit.
Located on a pristine and secluded beach area, the Valhalla is a perfect Anna Maria Island rental retreat.
This unit can easily be rented in conjunction with the downstairs unit for groups up to twelve. For groups up to 21, consider the Tiki next door as well! As the name suggests, the Valhalla really is heaven! The Valhalla is a one week minimum rental.
One small pet is allowed with a $150.00 non-refundable pet fee.
Parking is limited to three vehicles
Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property

Perfect gulf views from the large covered porch

"We sat for hours watching the waves, birds, and sky. Perfect sized home for us and we had all we needed. Loved having 2 coffee makers. The beds were soft and comfy. It was quiet at night. Overall perfect and was hard to leave.

"Location was perfect, the house was clean except from the outside furniture. The kitchen was not very professional equipped. No water boiler, no waste disposal. Shower-door could not been closed and wifi was not working, so was the telephone.

Family Vacation with all the kids and grand children

"Overall, our stay was very nice. Great location, right on the beach, and loved the deck. There were a couple things about the house I wasn’t happy with. The laundry area (upstairs) needs work. Organization is a must, and a curtain to cover the water heater and furnace would have been nice. It was very unattractive to walk by. The front walls also had damage, but I’m sure that will be fixed. Besides those 2 things, we had a great experience, and a wonderful vacation.

Location it tough to beat - Typical beach cottage

"We had a very nice vacation. The deck and the location are great. Deck could use a ceiling fan for those evenings without a gulf breeze as you will get bit multiple times by the Noseeums. The interior is fairly worn. Carpet in the bedrooms is really gross and should never be used in a beach house. Beds were firm but decent. Master bath shower is small and you can't open the door to turn it on without water spraying onto the bathroom floor. Poor design. Washing machine should be cleaned regularly. Leaves clothes smelling of mildew. During their weekly cleanings, a cleaning tab could be run to accomplish this. Paint peeling on many walls and bathroom ceiling. Overall could use a refresh in many areas but this is fairly typical of most of the beach cottages we have staying in on AMI. This cottage makes the 7th we have stayed in for the past 16 years.

A Spring Break Success!

"Location, Location, Location. Property is ON the beach, about as close as you can be. No need for a cooler because you can literally go to the kitchen to grab a cold beverage. If you want to explore a car is nice but if all you want is a beach vacation everything is in walking distance. Groceries, Walgreens, alcohol, select restaurants, coffee shop, hardware store, beach rentals are ALL walking distance. Your patch of beach is essentially private, always an area for you out front. Furnishings are nice, washer/dryer is great, condition of unit is older. Some paint is pealing. Bathrooms are nice but water pressure in guest bath is bad, master pressure is GREAT. Rent house nextdoor and unit below for large group, would be perfect.

"Our stay was fantastic and Bill and team were wonderful with their service.
Location of the property was perfect for what I was looking for, pictures on the site were an understatement to the experience I lived.
The property was fully equipped with the essential items we needed.
I was skeptical on traveling with the Pandemic at a spike, but the reassurance that the cleaning staff was doing an extra cleaning and finding the home clean gave me a sense of security.
Owners have truly kept up in the maintenance keeping the property looking modern.
Thank you and I will be back with the rest of my family hoping to rent from Island Vacation Valhalla & Tiki properties!

"Situated right on the beach. was a very good experience for the whole family. Overall property was in good condition and clean, but would recommend replacing carpets in the rooms. Would be excellent if carpets could be replaced with tiles like rest of the house. Would definitely be staying here again.

"We’ve stayed here in the past and the expansive, unobstructed ocean views never get old! One of our favorite spots on the island where you feel that you have your own private beach regardless of how busy the island can get. The home layout is perfect for a family of 6 and the home is updated with a very comfy couch and beds. Counting down the days until our return!

Multi million dollar view

"We stayed at Valhalla on Gulf Dr which is Gulf front. We really enjoyed the view. We took so many pictures of the sunset. We brought my mother in law who does not go to the beach much anymore for her birthday. She sat out on the beach since it was so close. The unit was very clean and had recent updates of appliances and furnishings. We had a wonderful time !
